OK I will start
My name is Steven Allan
I live on the outskirts of East Glasgow
I have a Triumph TR7 in Opel Monza Red
It was registered on the 1st / 8th / 1980
The car has done 20,000 miles from new
I have known the car for 11 years and owned it for just over 1 year
The car has the standard 2.0L engine
Stainless steel exhaust
Ford Capri front brakes with vented disks it also has the 5 speed rear brake pistons replaced with 4 speed with breaded hoses all round
Up rated suspension all round ( spax )
At the moment it is sitting on MG TF V spoke alloys ( but I still have the original alloys ) the spare wheel is the standard steel wheel and tyre that is the originals that came with the car and have never been on the road

Hi Stephen
The car sounds very nice and looks nice
The interesting part of you modifications why does the reg disappear at 40+ and where does it go?
Stupid question I know but I have to ask
Is this mod common to your type of car ?

It hangs low and hits on kerbs when parked facing in, so I mounted the plate on a couple of B n Q hinges so it tucks up under the car if it hits something rather than breaking. A plus point is the wind at 40mph makes it tuck up under the car also.
